Lead Orthodontist
Dr. Shaun L. Smith, DDS
“I love Orthodontics! I enjoy the challenge of unraveling a complicated dentition to produce the most beautiful smile. The most compelling part of it all is seeing the transformation in personalities as the smiles improve.”
“Often, especially with younger patients, as the smile transforms, you can see their eyes brighten and their chins rise a little higher. You can literally see confidence thriving.”
Dr. Smith grew up in Jamaica, earned a chemical engineering degree from the University of Florida, and later graduated magna cum laude with his DDS from Howard University. He finished orthodontic training at Howard, practiced in Virginia, and returned to Florida in 2018. He is an adjunct faculty member at Nova Southeastern University's College of Dental Medicine.
