What are Lingual Braces?

Traditional braces attach brackets and wires to the outer surfaces of your teeth to guide their alignment. Lingual braces are attached to the inner (lingual) surfaces of your teeth.

Twenty years after Invisalign changed the course of Orthodontics, technological advances in AI, 3D image processing, and materials science, have made INBRACE possible. We use our 3D scanner to digitally capture your teeth in our office and then INBRACE fabricates customized brackets for the inside of your teeth.

We use a simple and easy, indirect technique to bond the brackets to the inside surfaces of your teeth with a hybrid-resin dental cement. A computer-robotics built archwire, customized for your case, then links your lingual braces on their computer-algorithmed path to alignment. The cool thing about InBrace is that the wires are curved between each tooth to allow you to floss just as easily as if you didn’t have braces.
